A few projects from our portfolio include:

• A $1 million grant awarded to Kettering University from the US Department of Justice’s Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation program (BCJI) to reduce and prevent crime along the University Avenue Corridor
• $450,000 from the federal Building Neighborhood Capacity Program (BNCP) that leveraged $450,000 from local sources to build resident capacity in Flint’s northside neighborhoods
• A $500,000 Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant from the US Dept of Housing and Urban Development to redevelop the Atherton East public housing complex on Flint’s south side
• The Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2) program which brought in a team of federal technical assistance providers to advance public safety, decrease blight and redevelop brownfields
