• Healthy Food Initiatives like the North Flint Food Market, a co-operative which is empowering the residents of North Flint to own their food-access destiny and creating jobs
• Workforce Development programs like that at Carriage Town Ministries where we provided staff coaching and program development support
• Educational organizations like the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) where we supplemented their development team to bring in local, state, and federal grants to fund new county-wide programs like school safety and social-emotional wellbeing
• Non-profits that serve large cities like Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice, which has designated fund development staff
• Organizations that support a cause, not necessarily a place, like Beacon Tree, which helps families pay for mental health services for children
• Colleges and Universities like Kettering University that have sophisticated development departments – we supplemented their work to fund revitalization in the local community

  – evaluate best practices in their priority areas
  – build the capacity of their grantees

• Government agencies that want to build the capacity of both their grantees and those who are eligible for their programs
• Intermediaries like the United Way and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) that both receive public and private funds and then re-grant money to others
